MACY'S SANTALAND

Before we headed out of town for the holidays, we decided to bring Abby to Macy's in downtown Minneapolis to get her picture taken with Santa Claus.  Scott and I had never been to Santa land so we didn't really know what to expect.  I thought we were crazy for going on the Saturday before Christmas, but Macy's runs it so well and we didn't have to wait long at all.  Abby enjoyed looking at everything (especially all of the people) and we had a good time, too.

At her 6 month check up:
13 pounds 8 ounces (8th percentile)
24 3/4 inches long (10th percentile)
42.7 cm head circumference  (60th percentile)

She's been growing so much since her surgery! 

The super talented Elyse Rethlake returned to take 6 months photos of Abby.  There are so many beautiful photos that I wanted to share so I made another little video.  Enjoy!  Our little peanut is growing up so fast!

Highlights from the last month -

Loves touching the Christmas tree!

Max is never far away from Abby.  She's very interested in him and loves to pet him.  She's even starting to anticipate his licks and turns her head away.

I love to play with my feet!  Mmm...tasty!

This smile melts my mommy and daddy's heart.

I can sit up all by myself.  I'm pretty proud of myself, too!

The adventures of solid foods began!  Abby's first foods were rice cereal, banana, and avacado.

I finally like baths!  I hold and suck  a wash cloth the whole time, but I'm finally happy in the tub!
